Nice and helpful staff. The room´s size is good and the commom area is good as well.

The location is not so good. You have a long walk upstairs and uphill going back from city center (St. Martin Street). The hotel is located in a poor neighborhood and you don´t feel so safe walking around there by night. They have a wonderful terrace but it was under construction´s work and seems to be abandoned. The breakfast was always the same, they could change it sometimes...

We had a great stay at Chalp! the family that runs it is so nice and accomodating, Its a real familiar place... They helped us with booking tours (do the penguin island one;) and even borrowed us some money for food the first night because the ATM's where empty! The room was basic but comfy, a quick walk down into the centre (10min) and back we took taxi 10-12 pesos) good value for money!
